| 401 Unauthorized | Missing or invalid API key. | Export NEGENTRO\_API\_KEY and test with curl /api/v1/verify . |
| Empty search results | Overly strict search scope. | Change scope from dir to repo or increase top\_k . |
| Plugin crash on start | Node.js runtime \< 18. | Upgrade to Node.js LTS (18+ or 20+). |
| Session not flushed | Process killed abruptly. | Use /memory:remember or trigger graceful shutdown. |
